Bike Week Events May 10, 7-8:30 pm: Free bike tune-up seminar with Lou Edwards at the Valley JRC/Alaska Club

May 11-15: 10,000 Mile Capital Challenge
Can Juneau ride 10,000 miles during Bike Week?
Log in to www.velog.com, join the Group Juneau Bike Week, and log your miles to find out! We'll track progress toward the 10,000 mile goal on the Freewheeler's web site beginning May 11.

May 14 & 15, 8:00 pm: Bicycle Film Fest, Backroom Cinema at the Silverbow

May 14 - The classic "Breaking Away," a wonderful coming-of-age story where a local cyclist in small-town America lives, eats, and breathes cycling and everything Italian.
May 15 - From the award-winning producers of The Collective , comes "Roam," a mountain bike film that depicts the travels and adventures of some of the world's top riders.. "Roam" pushes the boundaries in terms of cutting edge riding as well as breath taking cinematography.


May 16 - Bike to Work & School Day
If you usally drive your car, travel differently today! Bike, walk or take the bus to  work or school. Walking and bus miles also count toward the 10,000 mile goal.

Bike to Work & School Day Events - Friday, May 15 Join a group "Pedal Pool" departure or form your own "Pedal Pool" with your friends & neighbors and ride together to work or school:

Commuter Pedal Pool Departure to Downtown --
Heritage Glacier Cafe, Mendenhall Rd - 7:00 a.m.

Commuter Pedal Pool Departure to Valley --
Paradise Cafe, Marine Park - 7:00 a.m.
